Magnificent Nude Deco lamp
These are sometimes attributed to Enrique Molins Balleste (1893-1958) but we hven't found a mark/signature to confirm this. We've also seen them described as 'German 1930s'. The casting is of very high quality and probably better and bigger generally than Balleste lamps.
 
Gilt bronze (we are not able to confirm this) with green and black marble base and marbled globe shade. 
The figure has a wonderful patina of bronze where the gold has worn through with the years of handling the lamp. Globe and base in good condition. Re-wired with earth including inline switch, gold twisted braided flex.

This makes a near ish pair, rewired. The base is slightly darker marble and the figure is verdigris tinged with little patina. But the very same casting. The glass globe is also diferent and we think original (but could be matched to this one as this version has a replacement glass) Creating a stunning pair of lamps. (We will discount a pair by £80).
