The TA FA TA1 TA2, (there seems confusion out there which model this is but my understanding is the F=floor T=table) 
 
This is the rarer and even more stylish longer lamp cowl/shade design, which may make it an early model.
 
The TA is manufactured by hand spun polished aluminium shade and steel. A renowned Design classic globally (and icon of British design), quality, engineering is second to none as designed by Peter Nelson being a former aeronautical engineer.
